Understanding notices of sums in arrears (NOSIAs)

Loans If you miss two or more contractual loan payments, we’ll have to send you a notice of sums in arrears (NOSIA). And we have to send a subsequent notice of sums in arrears (SNOSIA) every six months until you’re up to date with your payments.

Flex If you miss two consecutive Flex payments, we’ll have to send you a notice of sums in arrears (NOSIA), even if you caught up straight away.

If you've already got an arrangement We have to send you these notices, even if we’ve come up with a plan for you, or you've agreed an arrangement with a debt advisor, because the law says we need to give you certain info when you’re behind on payments based on what’s in your credit agreement.

We know it’s confusing because the notice says you’re behind on payments. But as long as you’re keeping to the terms of your payment plan, you don’t need to do anything.

If you’re not able to keep to the terms of your arrangement, please let us know.
