Damage in your home
If floods, fires, storms, subsidence or even natural disasters damage your things - you're covered up to £100,000.
Theft from your home
If someone breaks in and steals or damages your belongings (unless it’s from unsecured shared areas) - you’re covered up to £100,000.
Out of home cover
If things you have with you while you’re out in the British Isles get damaged or stolen (not including cash) - you’re covered up to £1,000.
Damage moving home
If something breaks or gets stolen while you're moving home, even if it’s in storage (for up to 72 hours) - you’re covered up to £10,000.
More protection
Lost keys, thawed food if your freezer breaks, personal liability - all sorts of mishaps are covered. Limits apply.

How do I make a claim?
If you need to make a claim, you can do so directly from the Monzo app. Go to the insurance section in your app, tap on your active policy and tap 'Make a claim'. If you'd prefer to speak to someone, you can call 0345 2661980.
Who is Chubb?
We've partnered with an insurer called Chubb. Chubb provides the cover and are responsible for managing, approving and paying out approved claims.
