Adding your card to Apple Wallet - troubleshooting guide

If you're having problems adding your card to Apple Wallet, try these steps to fix things.

Make sure you’re adding the right card, and it’s not frozen, blocked or expired.
You can order a replacement card in the app if you need to. You’ll be able to add it to your Apple Wallet right away, before the physical card even arrives.
Check if your card is already in the Apple Wallet.
If it is, tap Complete verification, or delete it and retry.
Make sure you have a reliable WiFi or data connection.
Check that you're logged into your Apple account on your device.

Make sure your device region is set to the United Kingdom.
Note the minimum age for Apple Pay in the UK is 13. Refer to this Apple help page if you need more help.

Try adding your card again

Go to your cards and select the card you want to add.
Tap Add to Apple Wallet, and follow the instructions.

Further troubleshooting

If none of the above has worked, try these additional steps.

Update your Monzo app to the latest version via the app store.
Update your device to the latest iOS version. See this Apple help page for more detail.
Restart your device.
Add your card again.

You can also try adding your card directly in the Apple Wallet app.

Open the Wallet app.
Tap the + symbol at the top of the screen.
Tap Debit or Credit card or select Monzo.
Follow the instructions.

Digital wallet limits

You can only remove and re-add your card 2 times every 24 hours and 3 times every 30 days. If you go over this limit, it won't work. You’ll need to wait for your limit to reset.
