Troubleshooting Nearby Friends
For the Nearby Friends feature to work, make sure both you and the other person have your profile privacy settings enabled, then follow these steps:
Make sure you both have Bluetooth switched on
Tap the Payments icon in the menu bar
Tap on Pay Someone
Both tap Nearby Friends, then tap your friend's name when it pops up
Send the money 💸
If you've done all this and it's still not working, let us know and we can take a closer look.
Alternatively you can also try using our new QR code feature to get paid by someone. You'll need to do the following:
Tap the QR code icon at the top right beside the magnifying glass or by tapping on Request money and then choosing By QR Code or link
Enter the amount or leave this up to them
They'll then be able to use their phone's camera or a QR code scanner to scan this and make the payment 😊
