Requesting money using monzo.me
Monzo.me lets you send and receive money without needing to know the other person’s account details. You can send money to anyone with a Monzo account through it, and receive money from anyone – even if they don’t have Monzo.
Use it to request or send money to friends and family, split a bill, chip in for a present or reimburse someone.
To send money:
Tap the Payments icon in the menu bar
Tap pay someone
Tap Pay someone new
Then you can tap either "Pay anyone using a link" to send a request though a text or email or "Pay someone nearby" using Nearby Friends.
To receive money:
Tap the Payments icon in the menu bar
Tap Request money
By QR code or link
From here you can send requests by tapping on "Share link instead" or have the person scan in your QR code with their phone. You can also edit the amount from this page or just leave it blank - it's up to you!
Please note: you can't use a credit card, prepaid card or any overseas cards to pay someone using Monzo.me.
