Paying someone
If you give the Monzo app access to your contacts then we’ll show you which of your contacts have Monzo and make it easier to send and receive payments from them.
You can pay anyone with a UK account by email, text or social media (like Facebook) without their bank details by sharing a link with that person from the Payments tab.
Or you can send a regular bank transfer. To do this, you'll need:
The person's name
Their account number
Their sort code
Bank transfers should be instant, but they can take up to 24 hours. If it takes longer than one working day, let us know and we’ll look into it for you.
To send money, tap the Payments icon in the menu bar and choose how to you want to make the payment.
You might also need to give our address: Monzo, Broadwalk House, 5 Appold Street, London EC2A 2AG.
