Editing your Monzo Flex monthly payments
You can edit your monthly payments at any time so all the control is in your hands. Here’s how:
Tap the Home icon in the menu bar
Tap on the Flex card to see your Flex feed
Scroll down to Activity
Choose the purchase you want to edit the instalments for
Tap ‘Edit instalment plan’
Adjust the slider to increase or decrease the amount you want to pay back. This will reduce or increase the amount of interest you have to pay in total.
You can also choose the purchase you want to edit and change the number of payments. Here's how:
Tap the Home icon in the menu bar
Tap on the Flex card to see your Flex feed
Scroll down to ‘Activity’
Tap 'Manage Payments' and 'Reduce or Increase'
Things to keep in mind
If you’re paying 0% interest and you switch to a longer instalment plan, we’ll charge interest at your personalised rate which you can find in your credit agreement. You also won’t be able to switch back to 0% interest as this benefit is linked to the monthly payment you originally chose. There's more on this in our help article about interest rates on Flex
If you choose 3, 6 or 12 monthly payments, you can switch to 24 monthly payments at any time to reduce your monthly payment to the minimum amount.
If you only pay the minimum each month, it’ll take you longer, and cost more, to pay off your Flex balance.
Not keeping up with payments may negatively impact your credit score. Ts&Cs apply.
