How to tell us someone with a Monzo Account has died if you’re under 16

We understand that you would like to share the very sad news about someone who had a Monzo account. We are truly sorry for your loss. We really want to help, but because of bank rules, we can only talk about the account with an adult.

🗣️ Here’s What to Do Next

The quickest way to start the process is to ask an adult to contact us.

What to tell your supporting adult: Ask your supporting adult (like a parent, guardian, or another trusted family member) to get in touch with our special Life Events team using one of the following methods:

Website: The simplest way to start is by filling out a secure form at monzo.com/bereavements

Email: They can also email us directly at bereavements@monzo.com

What happens next?

When your adult contacts us, our team will take over and talk to them about the next steps. They will help manage the account.
