Pending payments
When you make a payment, it happens in two parts:
We set the money aside in your account as a 'pending transaction' so you can’t spend it
The merchant (the person or company you’re paying) collects the money a couple of days later
If the merchant doesn’t collect the money, we’ll refund you. This usually happens after 8 days, but can sometimes take up to 30 days depending on how the merchant has their payment system set up.
If you need this money sooner, you can let us know and we can look into raising a dispute for you. Just follow these steps in the app:
Tap the Home icon
Pick the transaction from your activity feed
Scroll and tap 'Something wrong? Get help'
Find the 'Help me get this money back' header and tap 'Get help'
After you've completed the form, we'll let you know the next steps.
