Do I need to tell you about high-value items for Home Insurance?
If you have an item on the list below and they’re worth more than £1,000 each, you should add them to your policy individually so that they are covered to their full value (up to £10,000). If you have an item worth more than this then you may choose to insure it separately.
Art
Bikes
Jewellery
Watches
Portable Electronics
Mobile phones
Camera/photography gear
Any other high-value items that don’t fall into those categories don’t need to be listed separately on the policy. These are covered as part of your standard contents insurance.
Just be sure that your total contents coverage limit provides the level of cover you need.
