Using Flex on Apple Pay
Using Flex on Apple Pay
To get started you'll need to add your Flex card to Apple Wallet, if you haven’t already. Here’s how to add your Flex card to Apple Wallet.
Once your Flex card is added to Apple Wallet:
Tap the Apple Pay button at checkout.
Select your Flex card and tap it to see your payment options. If Flex isn't your default card, go to Other Cards & Pay Later Options to select it.
Tap Pay Later to view your available monthly payments. (You can also tap Pay in Full to checkout using your Flex default.)
If you choose Pay Later, select the monthly payment that works best for you.
Complete your purchase securely with Face ID, Touch ID or your passcode.
If you choose Pay in Full in Apple Pay, we’ll use your default payment
Your default payment could be to pay in full on your next payment date or choose each time. If you’ve set your default payment to minimum monthly you won’t be able to use this new feature just yet. We’ll let you know when it’s available.
If you already have Flex, you can see what your default plan is here.
All the flexibility you're used to
You'll still get all the benefits of your Flex card when you check out with Apple Pay. So you won't miss out on things like no fees when you pay abroad and your usual interest-free offers. If you already have Flex, you can see your personalised offer here.
You’ll be able to edit your monthly payment in the Monzo app after checking out.
You'll also still get Section 75 Protection on eligible purchases, so you might be able to get your money back if something goes wrong with a purchase.
You'll need the latest OS version to try this new Apple feature
You'll need iOS 18 or iPadOS 18 or later. You can update your iPhone or iPad to the latest operating system by going to Settings on your device.
