Are investment accounts sustainably invested?
“Sustainable investments” are investment approaches that consider environmental, social, governance and other sustainability factors (sometimes called ESG funds) to varying degrees.
The funds we offer aren’t classed as “ESG funds” or “sustainable funds”. Some of them do promote environmental or social characteristics, but sustainable investment isn’t their main focus.
These labels are a part of the UK’s new Sustainability Disclosure Requirements. These are rules designed to help customers understand how focused a fund is on sustainability. Since the funds we offer don’t have sustainability as their main objective, they don’t qualify for one of the official labels.
