Are investment accounts protected?
Yes, the total amount of all of your investment accounts are protected by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) up to £85,000.
Amounts in your investment account don't count towards the FSCS limit for bank deposits with Monzo - you can find more information about FSCS protection on our website
FSCS protection doesn’t cover losses incurred through investment performance or if you get back less than you originally invested.
