Can I change the fund/risk level of my investment account?
If you feel like your appetite for risk has changed or you're interested in another fund, you can switch the fund that you’re invested in or you can add another fund, even after you've opened your investment account 🥳
If you have more than one fund
You can switch one fund at a time. You’ll be able to move either the full amount or just part of it. You can also add another fund to your investment account.
If you only have one fund
You can switch it into another fund, but you'll need to move the full amount. Make sure your Monzo app is updated to the latest version, then all you'll need to do is:
Go to the Investments tab in the app
Select the fund you want to switch
Tap 'Switch to another fund'
Select the new fund you’d like to switch to
Choose the fund that best matches your appetite for risk and then confirm
We’ll then sell the investments in your current fund and reinvest the money into your new fund.
During the fund switch, you won't be able to withdraw any money from your investment account.
We’ll sell your current fund and reinvest the money into your new choice, all within 2 working days.
