Our prize draw is open to all Monzo customers who are UK residents aged 18 or over and who satisfy the entry requirements (listed below) at the time of entry. Our prize draw isn’t open to Monzo employees, their families or any third party helping run it.

To enter the prize draw you need to:

It’s one entry per person on each eligible social media platform (Instagram and Twitter) and completely free. You can enter from 10am on 17 January 2022 until 12am on 31 January 2022. If you enter after this date then you’re unfortunately too late.

We’ll choose 10 winners from all eligible entries at random on Monday 31 January 2022. Each winner will win £222.

We’ll contact winners by direct message on the relevant social media platform or via the Monzo app and we may ask to verify each winner’s details or identity. All winners will be notified by Friday 11 February 2022. If you win, we’ll send the amount you have won directly into your Monzo account associated with your email address within 30 days.

You can’t exchange your prize or ask for an alternative. You’ll only be eligible to win one prize in this prize draw, so if you entered on both Instagram and Twitter you can still only win one prize. And so you know, we have the right to replace the prize with a different one of the same value or higher.

If tax is payable, you’ll be responsible for paying these taxes to the relevant tax authority.

If you enter, we assume you’ve read and agree to these terms and conditions. And so you know, we have the right to refuse entry or the prize to anyone who’s breached these terms and conditions.

If, at the time of the draw, we’ve closed, ‘frozen’ or given you notice we’re going to close your account you won’t be eligible to win. You also won’t be eligible to win if, at our discretion, we decide that your entry contains offensive language, refers to illegal activity or has been created using a bot. We’ll end or temporarily close the prize draw if we suspect any fraudulent, abusive or suspicious behaviour.

We collect, store and process the data for everyone who enters the draw in line with our privacy notice. By entering, you give us permission to send you messages about the draw.

The random draw will be carried out using a random number generator or other fair process of selecting a winner at random. We’ll keep a record of drawn entries for one year.

We’d love to use your social media post and your details in our future promotions, but we won’t do this without asking for your permission first.

And the last thing from us: English law applies to this prize draw and anyone who enters it, submits to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
