How do I leave the Monzo Making Tax Digital submission tool?
You can change to another HMRC approved software for Making Tax Digital for Income Tax at any time. There is no need to cancel or leave our tool, simply stop using it to record your business finances and start using your new tool whenever you’d like!
One thing to note is if you change your Making tax Digital software in the middle of the tax year, you might need to enter any information that was submitted on the Monzo app again using your new platform.
This is because the quarterly updates are completed for the total of the tax year up to that quarter i.e. Quarter 3 in the standard tax year needs to contain all the information from 6th April - 5th January.
Please speak to your new tool provider for more information on their HMRC approved software.
