How to open a Monzo Joint Account

To apply for a Monzo Joint Account, you and the person you want to share the account with need to have Monzo Personal Accounts.

From there, either one of you can apply for the joint account in minutes from in your Monzo app. You’ll need to have the other person as a contact in Monzo and have allowed Monzo access to your phone contacts.

  1. Tap the Home icon in the menu bar

  2. Tap the + icon in the top right corner of the Home tab if you see it. If you don’t see a + icon, the option to open a joint account will be at the bottom of your Home screen instead)

  3. Scroll down and tap Open a joint account

  4. Follow the steps
