Switching to Aura
You can switch to Aura from Flex if eligible. You can also cancel Aura once your minimum term ends and switch back to Flex.
What happens to my Flex balance?
Your Flex balance will carry over to Aura.
Can I have both Flex and Aura?
You’ll only be able to have one of Flex or Aura at any time.
Can I switch from Flex Build to Aura?
Only customers on Flex Purchase can switch to Aura. If you have Flex Build, Aura will not be available as a switch option.
What happens to Flex add‑ons if I switch?
Some add‑ons may be removed as part of switching to Aura. The app will explain these changes before you confirm your switch.
Does applying for Aura impact my credit score?
It’s a soft search if you apply and see if you’re eligible, without it leaving a permanent record on your file.
If you’re applying to Monzo for credit for the first time and choose to take out Aura, we’ll run a hard search.
If you’re switching from Flex to Aura, switching products won’t leave a hard search on your credit file.
