What is Insights
We’ve replaced Trends with Insights, a Cash flow management tool where you can make sense of your business’ financial health.
Insights is made up of 3 distinct tabs:
Cash flow Cash flow shows the amount of money that goes in and out of your account over a period of time (monthly, yearly or UK Tax yearly), useful to work out your net income. In this tab you’ll see a segmented bar graph that drills down into your Cash flow, get breakdown of your incomings and outgoings by transaction category or by merchants you spend with. You’ll also have the option to exclude categories from your Cash flow - Savings and Transfers are excluded by default.
Balance Balance shows your running account balance over time and period specific ‘Insights’ like your total money in and out, as well as an estimate of what you’ve got left to spend, based on any upcoming payments.
Target The Target tab is useful to help manage your business’s discretionary spend by setting a monthly spending target for your business account and other connected accounts (if you’ve set them up). You can exclude categories and change the date your month resets, by default it’s the 1st of each month.
We're working on new features to Insights so keep an eye out for updates.
