What is the monthly cash flow report and how do I access it?

The Business monthly cash flow report is a tool that breaks down the finances of your business for the last month

See how much your business is getting paid and how much you’re spending in the previous month for your business. The monthly cash flow report takes transaction data from your Monzo business account as well as any other business bank accounts connected in the Monzo app via Open Banking!

Learn and understand which categories you’re spending most in and how your cash flow is trending over the month. Also see your starting, ending, highest and lowest daily balances from the month in a clear summary.

There is also a summary of the invoices that you have made and used in the Monzo app.

This feature is available to business customers on any account plan (Please note that Expense cardholder users will not have access to this report)


How to access your monthly cash flow report:

  • Tap on the Your monthly cash flow report notification at the top of your Monzo Business account home screen to see your report.

  • You can also Tap on Insights at the bottom of your screen, then tap on View last month’s cash flow report to see your most recent report.

  • You can also swipe to previous months in Insights to see previous monthly reports if they were generated.


Top tips to make the most of your cash flow report:

  • Make sure to assign categories to the transactions in your Monzo app so you can better see your income and expenses.

  • If you use other bank accounts for this business, please consider adding them via Open Banking to get the full picture of your business finances each month.

  • Keep the status and information of your invoices up to date in the Monzo app.

  • Set aside some time (we recommend 3-5 minutes for the whole report) to go through each screen and review the finances of your business.
