How do I transfer my ISA?
❗Important: We currently only support full ISA transfers. We do not support partial transfers.
Transferring an ISA to Monzo
Right now, you can only transfer an existing ISA into a Monzo Stocks & Shares ISA. We do not currently accept transfers into a Monzo Cash ISA.
To start a Stocks & Shares ISA transfer:
Go to your Investments account in the app.
Tap Transfer an ISA.
Follow the on-screen steps to provide your existing ISA details.
We will contact your current provider to start the transfer and let you know as soon as the money lands in your account.
Transferring an ISA away from Monzo
To move your Monzo ISA to another provider, you must start the process by contacting your new provider. They will give you an ISA transfer form to fill out.
The details you need to provide depend on which ISA you are moving:
Moving a Monzo Cash ISA
We do not support electronic Cash ISA transfers yet, so you will need to move it manually using your new provider's transfer form.
Provider name: Monzo
Account number: Your standard Monzo account number. You can find this by tapping the image of your personal Monzo card at the top of your Home screen.
Good to know: Your Cash ISA is a single wrapper. Transferring it will move and close all of your Cash ISA Pots at the same time. Your regular Savings Pots are entirely separate and will not be affected.
Moving a Monzo Stocks & Shares ISA
Provider name: Monzo
Account number: Your specific Stocks & Shares ISA account number. You can jump straight to your account details by tapping here.
Once you give these details to your new provider, they will contact us to safely transfer your money.
