Monzo Plus and Premium: Information about our plan price changes

We’re updating the monthly price of our Monzo Plus and Monzo Premium plans.

This change will apply to your account from your first monthly billing cycle on or after 14 October 2026.

Here’s how the monthly pricing is changing:

Why are the prices changing?

While these plans have been closed to new customers since April 2024, the prices have remained unchanged since they first launched in 2020.

Since launch, we've added advanced roundups – so you can automatically put more into savings – auto exports for your transactions, and a boosted savings rate.

To keep offering Plus and Premium, we're increasing the monthly price.

When does the new price take effect?

The updated price will apply to your account on your first regular monthly billing date on or after 14 October 2026.

For example, if your plan normally renews on the 10th of every month:

Changing or cancelling your plan

If you don’t want to keep your plan at the new price, you can choose to switch to one of our other plans or cancel your plan directly in the app at any time. There is no cost to cancel.

When you cancel Monzo Plus or Monzo Premium, your paid features will stop immediately and we will issue a partial refund for the remaining days left in your current billing cycle. Your account will then automatically switch over to our free account.

Heads up: We've stopped allowing new sign-ups to Plus and Premium. You can keep it and continue using your benefits. But if you cancel (even by accident) or move to a new plan, you won't be able to sign back up to Plus or Premium.
