What is Connected Insurances?

We’re giving customers the option to keep a record of all their insurance policies in one place in the Monzo app.

With connected insurances you can add policies yourself, or we may spot non-Monzo insurance payments in your transaction history (e.g. for car, pet, or home insurance), and we'll give you the option to add them. This only includes personal policies, not ones for business.

Once a policy is connected, we’ll send renewal reminders by push notification, in-app message and email 30 days before it’s due to renew, so you'll have time to review it.

You can remove a policy at any time too. You can also dismiss prompts to add connected insurances, or tap the pencil icon next to a policy to update it's details.

If you'd like to opt out of this you'll need to disable personalised marketing updates, you can do this by heading to your settings and tapping in privacy and security.
