Reporting fraud
Don’t recognise a payment? Follow these 5 steps to protect your account.
1. Freeze your card to stop anyone using it
Tap the Home icon in the menu bar
Tap Card on your card
Tap Freeze card
You can defrost your card at any time.
2. Check the payment details
Do you recognise the:
amount
merchant
location
date
time
3. Check if it could be a subscription
It’s worth checking if the payment’s part of a monthly or yearly subscription for something you’ve signed up to.
4. Check if someone you know made the payment
Have you recently given your card details to friends or family?
5. Report fraud
If you still don't recognise the payment, submit a fraud report and we’ll look into it.
Keep in mind, card fraud isn't:
billing issues
damaged goods
cancelled or unintentional subscriptions
being treated unfairly by a company
In those cases, you should try and sort the problem with the merchant. If they can’t do anything to help, you can raise a dispute with us in your app.
