How do I invoice internationally?

With Monzo invoicing you can bill in over 40 different currencies, including American Dollar, Australian Dollar and Euro. Your PDF invoice displays your Business account's Bank Identifier Code (BIC) and International Bank Account Number (IBAN) so your customer can send payment to these details.

Your invoice will show a Foreign Exchange (FX) rate, we use the MasterCard clearing rate around the invoice date, (or supply date if you set one).

When invoicing in any currency that isn't Pound Sterling (GBP), payment link and online card payment are not supported payment methods. If your customer uses the payment reference you provide then we'll automatically mark the invoice as paid.

We cannot give you Tax advice

It’s your responsibility to verify tax compliance in the relevant jurisdiction. Please ensure your invoices comply with local Tax laws and regulations and consult with a Tax professional for advice specific to your business.

To get started, head to the Get Paid tab in the app or on Monzo Business Web.
