Paying online with virtual cards

Virtual cards live in your Monzo app or phone wallet, and you can only use them with our Monzo Business Pro or Team plans.

You can keep your physical card details safe from fraudsters by using virtual cards for online payments. Each one has unique details which you can pay with and the money you spend comes from your balance, just like with your normal card.

They’re great for managing online subscriptions. And if your physical card gets lost or stolen, you don’t have to update your payment details everywhere.

You can manage your virtual cards by tapping Home in your app’s menu bar, then tap Virtual cards in the Monzo Business Pro section. Or you can click on the virtual cards tile in the account list on that screen (if you’ve got an active virtual card).
