💸 Compensation

We review your salary every year
The potential of an Incentive Award tied to your performance, which you can choose to receive as cash, equity, or a mix of both
Those in senior roles get a minimum portion of their incentive award as equity

📆 Flexible working hours

We trust you to work enough hours to do your job well, at times that suit you and your team
If you’re in customer operations, you’ll have set shifts

🏡 Working from home

If you’re employed as a distributed worker, we’ll pay for any equipment you need to do your job
If you’re normally office-based, you can still work from home occasionally - as long as you have a good internet connection and a private, quiet space which allows you to do your best work
Access to season travel ticket loans to help spread the cost of an annual travel ticket interest free over 10 months

🌴 Holiday

26 days’ a year, plus bank holidays – or opt out of bank holidays and take 34 days whenever you like
255 hours, equivalent to 34 days, if you’re in Customer Operations (Customer Operations are scheduled to work bank holidays, but can request them off)
1 month’s unpaid leave every year
8 weeks of paid sabbatical leave after every 5 years of service

💰 Pension

We'll automatically enrol you into our pension scheme
Monzo contributes the equivalent of 4% of your base salary. Monzo will match any additional contributions that you make up to a maximum of 6%
You'll need to contribute 4% too, and you can choose to contribute more to take advantage of Monzo's additional contributions!
You can opt out if you'd prefer not to have a pension at all

Paid maternity, paternity, adoption or shared parental leave, if you’ve been with us for at least 13 weeks
Primary caregiver leave (26 weeks at 100% pay, 13 weeks at Statutory Maternity Pay, 13 weeks unpaid)
Secondary caregiver leave (13 weeks at 100% pay, 39 weeks unpaid)
Life insurance (4x base salary)
Access to men’s and women’s health, fertility and family-forming health education benefits
Up to 12 weeks of paid Neonatal Leave for Monzonauts whose baby requires neonatal care

Questions, meet answers

Where are your roles based?

We've got offices in London, Cardiff, Dublin and Barcelona but some people work remotely too. Each job description will say where the role is usually based, though we're big fans of flexible working!

Do you offer internships, work experience or placements?

We occasionally hire for internships and work placements throughout the year – you'll find these alongside our other listings above.

Do you keep past candidates' applications for future openings?

It's best to keep your eye on our jobs board and submit a new application for any roles which you’re interested in. Our system logs all the applications we get, so we can keep candidates in mind for other roles if they stand out.

Can I apply by email?

We don't accept email applications. If there's a role which interests you please submit an application via the relevant job description above 👆

Do you have a graduate scheme?

We're piloting early careers programmes across Monzo. These opportunities will be listed alongside our usual job openings when we're hiring for them.

I saw a role recently but can't find it anymore, can I still apply?

If a role isn't on our website it means we're not accepting applications for the position anymore. We process applications on a rolling basis and encourage everyone to apply as soon as they can. We're growing super fast though, so please keep an eye on our careers page.

Yep, Monzo's a registered sponsor and we can sponsor visas for certain roles. If we can sponsor a role, this will be clearly listed in the job posting.

I'm a recruiter, can we work together?

We're not looking for any recruitment support right now. We've got a big enough team to hire most of the roles we need. But we'll let you know if that changes!
