Using your Monzo card at an ATM

We have partnered with the Moneypass ATM network, which means you can withdraw cash from any ATM on this map for free 🏧

Outside of that map, your card will work at any other ATMs that accept Mastercard - but those ATMs might charge a fee. No matter which ATM you use, we don’t charge any fees ourselves.

ℹ️ Please note: we currently only allow ATM withdraws - we don’t support depositing cash using an ATM.

You can also use your card at ATMs abroad ✈️ Just like in the US, we don’t charge any fees for using an ATM overseas - but the ATM itself might.

💡Pro tip: If an international ATM asks you if you want to be charged in the “Local Currency” or in “US Dollars” - it’s best to choose the local currency option. That way, you can ensure Monzo is the one doing the currency conversion - not the ATM. We use Mastercard’s direct exchange rate, which means you always get the best conversion rate - the ATM will often provide a slightly worse conversion rate.
