A bank transfer I sent hasn’t arrived

When you send a bank transfer from your Monzo account, the money should appear in the account you’ve sent it to straight away.

It can sometimes take a bit longer

Some banks, like HSBC, do extra checks before they accept the money. This means it can take up to 24 hours, or longer on weekends.

Check the details are correct

Tap on the transfer in your feed and scroll down to see the details. Check you’ve got the right account number, sort code and reference.

Give it 24 hours – if the money still hasn’t arrived, tap Something wrong? Get help and share the "Tracking reference (FPID)" with the person you sent the money to. They can check with their bank using this reference.

If you sent a bank transfer to someone pretending to be someone else, or you think you’ve transferred the money to a fraudster, let us know as soon as possible.
