Sending Polish Zloty (PLN) payments

This guide is to help you with sending PLN payments. It has all the information you need to know, including when you can usually expect it to arrive and what you can do if it doesn’t.

✅ Yes, you can send PLN payments to an individual or a business.

❌ No. As there are no name checks, it's really important that you use the correct account number. If the incorrect account number is used and it belongs to someone else, the payment will still go through.

You can send up to 5,000,000zł per transfer.

Most payments arrive within 6 hours, and nearly all arrive within 1 working day.

In some cases, because of bank holidays or if there are any extra checks on the payment it can take up to 3 working days.

You can see how long we expect your payment to take before you send it in the app, and after you’ve sent it by tapping it in your feed.

We’ll send your payment as a local bank transfer through the Express Elixir, Elixir or SORBNET2 networks with partner banks in Poland.

Payments must be made before 12:00 GMT to go out on the same day.
