Sending Pakistani Rupee (PKR) payments

This guide is to help you with sending PKR payments. It has all the information you need to know, including when you can usually expect it to arrive and what you can do if it doesn’t.

❌ No, you can only send PKR payments to an individual.

✅ Yes. It’s really important that you use the correct account number. If the incorrect account number is used and it belongs to someone else, the payment will likely be returned.

You can send up to Rs35,000,000 per transfer.

Most payments arrive within 1 hour, and nearly all arrive within 6 hours.

In some cases, because of bank holidays or if there are any extra checks on the payment it can take up to 1 working day.

You can see how long we expect your payment to take before you send it in the app, and after you’ve sent it by tapping it in your feed.

We’ll send your payment as a local bank transfer through the Inter Bank Funds Transfer (IBFT) or Raast networks with partner banks in Pakistan.

If the recipient bank doesn't accept Raast payments, we'll send through IBFT.

Payments must be made before 12:00 GMT to go out on the same day.

✅ Yes. If a payment is showing as sent in your app but the person you paid hasn't received it, please get in touch with us and we'll trace the payment for you.

✅ Yes, but only if you think it’s fraud. Let us know right away so we can help.

⏰ We can send the recall immediately.

Asaan accounts have a limit of Rs500,000, if you’re sending over this amount to one of these accounts it will fail and be returned.
