Paying someone
To pay someone through your Monzo account, you need to have them as a contact in your phone.
You can pay anyone with a UK account by email, text or social media (like Facebook) without their bank details.
Or you can send a regular bank transfer. To do this, you'll need:
The person's name
Their account number
Their sort code
Bank transfers should be instant, but they can take up to 24 hours. If it takes longer than one working day, let us know and we’ll look into it for you.
To send money, tap the Payments icon in the menu bar and choose how to you want to make the payment.
