Sending international transfers

You can now send most popular international currencies directly from your Monzo app, without needing a Wise account.

You can't send GBP (Great British Pounds) internationally from your Monzo account.

For all other currencies, youโ€™ll need a Wise account. When you use the feature for the first time youโ€™ll need to give us permission to use your Wise account. If you donโ€™t have a Wise account, weโ€™ll create one for you when you send the money.

You need to be 18 or over to send international payments.

Receiving international payments

You can find a list of supported currencies by following the below instructions.

  1. Select your account - remember you'll have a different IBAN for each account

  2. Tap on the three dots in the bottom right of the card

  3. Tap Add Money (if you can't see this button, tap on the three dots)

  4. Scroll down to Other ways to add money

  5. Tap on International bank transfer

  6. Scroll down to the Supported currencies section
