Why is my Home Insurance renewal price more than what I paid last year?
We understand that seeing an increase in your renewal price can be frustrating, especially if you haven't made a claim.
Lots of things can impact the price of an insurance policy such as inflation, rebuild costs and claim rates.
If you'd like to lower the cost of your renewal, you can look to do this by decreasing your level of cover or by increasing your excess.
To make changes to your renewal quote:
Go to the insurance section in your app and tap on your active policy
Tap on 'Review your renewal'
From here you’ll be able to review your level of cover as well as make changes to your cover and excess.
Before making any changes, check that the policy would still provide the level of cover you need.
You can only make changes to your renewal in the last 30 days of your existing policy.
