How do I cancel my Monzo Home Insurance?
You can cancel your insurance in the app by following these steps:
Go to the insurance section in your app and tap on your active policy
Tap on the cog on the right hand side of the screen
Tap ‘Cancel policy’
If you’re eligible for a refund, we’ll let you know the amount
If you want to continue and cancel your policy, tap ‘Cancel insurance’.
We'll cancel your cover with immediate effect and we don’t charge any cancellation fees. If you haven’t made a claim, we’ll refund you for the days you’ve paid for but haven’t used. If you have made a claim, you won’t receive a refund of any payment you’ve already made.
It’s worth remembering that if you have a mortgage, most lenders require you to have buildings insurance in place which covers you financially if things go wrong.
