Booking a Holiday Online
"Fraudsters sometimes offer fake accommodation or flights for prices that are too good to be true.
You might be contacted by text or email, or be recommended someone from family or friends. Always do your own checks to make sure that what they are offering is a genuine product and service.
Always use companies that are ATOL or ABTA protected and that offer buyer protection. Even if you start your search on a trusted website, fraudsters might try to move you off of those sites and ask you to send payments another way. Some fraudsters will even spoof genuine websites. Always go directly to the websites you know and trust and never click on links provided by a third party."
