Why there's a cash deposit limit for Monzo Business accounts
Criminals can use cash deposits for money laundering and we’ve done a few things to mitigate this already, but adding a deposit limit helps to reduce that risk even more.
After getting feedback from our customers we increased the cash deposit limit for Monzo Business accounts. We think the following should work for most businesses
£3,000 per calendar month for sole trader
£10,000 per calendar month for limited company
We can’t increase cash deposit limits more than this right now, not even on a temporary basis.
