Setting up a Direct Debit

A Direct Debit lets an organisation collect regular payments from your account. People mostly use them for paying bills.

To set up a Direct Debit, give your bank details (account number and sort code) to the company you want to pay.

When you set up a Direct Debit, it’ll take at least 3 days to show up in your Scheduled Payments. (If you can’t see it after a week, we recommend getting in touch with the company you want to pay.)

You can find your account number and sort code on your Monzo app by tapping the Home icon in the menu bar.
