Moving between Extra, Perks and Max

Upgrading to Extra, Perks or Max

You can upgrade from Extra to Perks or Max, or from Perks to Max at any time without having to pay a cancellation fee.

Upgrading from Max to Max Family

If you already have Max and want to add the family add on, you can do so from your Max home. Scroll down and tap "insure your family". You'll be able to upgrade to Max family from there

Downgrading to another plan

Right now, there isn't a way to downgrade from Max to Perks or Extra, or from Perks to Extra. To do this you’ll need to cancel your plan and then sign up to the new one.

You may need to pay a fee when you cancel. You can see more about cancellation fees for Perks here and Max here.

Moving from Max to Perks

If you cancel Max and we charge you a Railcard cancellation fee we may refund it to you if you take out Perks or Max within 30 days. If this happens and you cancel again you’ll have to pay the cancellation fee as if you were cancelling for the first time.

How to cancel your current plan and sign up to a new one

You'll still be able to get your virtual cards and custom categories back when you sign up to the new plan.

ℹ️ Please note, you're not able to cancel Max while in your minimum term. You need to wait until the minimum term ends to cancel or move to Perks or Extra.
