Signing up to Monzo Extra, Perks or Max isn't working

There are a few reasons why you might not be able to sign up for Monzo Extra, Perks or Max

Under 18s

Monzo plans are only available to people over 18.

Over 70

To be eligible for Monzo Max, you must be a UK resident and aged between 18 and 70.

Not enough money in your account to cover the monthly payment

To sign up for Extra, Perks or Max, you'll enough money in your account to pay the first month's subscription.

Behind on Flex or Loan payments

If you’re behind on Flex or loan repayments you won’t be able to sign up to Monzo Extra, Perks or Max. Once you're back on track, you can then look at signing up.

Not a UK resident

Extra, Perks and Max are only available to UK residents.

You may need to activate your card

If you don't have an active card and you're struggling to sign up, once your card arrives, activate it and try signing ip again.
