Why can't you offer me Home Insurance?
We're sorry that we can't offer you home insurance at the moment.
We want to offer cover to as many people as possible, but there are a few reasons to do with your property or location that may stop us from offering a quote.
The most common reason is related to data. We use a third-party database to get information about the property you live in, and if this data is incomplete then we won't be able to generate a price to insure your home.
There are also some types of home that we can't currently cover:
Listed Buildings (Grade I, Grade II*, or Grade II)
Houseboats or Static Caravans
Properties with a history of flooding, subsidence, heave, or landslip
For the time being, we also aren't able to offer insurance for properties in Northern Ireland.
