What is Manage Tax?
Manage Tax is the space in your Monzo app where you can manage all your business’ tax related finances and information as well as learn more about how Monzo can help you with filing your taxes.
Manage Tax is currently in testing, and is available to Admins and Collaborators of some of our Sole Trader businesses on any account plan. You can access your Tax Home by scrolling down on the Home screen to the Manage Tax section.
Manage Tax contains the following sections:
The Making Tax Digital timeline This timeline shows you how Making Tax Digital could affect the events in the tax year of your business, including explaining when to file and when payments will need to be made.
Making Tax Digital Lessons This section has further resources to help you understand more about Making Tax Digital, the impact on your business and how Monzo features can help you optimise filing your taxes.
Your Pots for Tax This is where you can view your Pots in Manage Tax so that its easier for you to track your tax finances, as well as allowing you to open new Pots so you can save for your tax bill.
Polls This section will have a series of questions designed to make you think more about the impact of Making Tax Digital, and your readiness for the changes coming in 2026.
Other options This section contains links to other useful tools such as accounting integrations, to the Help section for Making Tax Digital and to a feedback section where you can give feedback on Monzo’s MTD space.
