What does my international payment status mean?
Check if an international transfer has gone through by clicking on the payment in your feed. This is what the different messages mean:
Waiting
We've sent a Faster Payment to Wise for the GBP amount you're sending. We're waiting on them to confirm they've got it. Hold tight.
Waiting for recipient
Wise is waiting for some info from the person who’s receiving your payment, before they can make it.
Processing
Wise has got your GBP payment, and is looking at it now.
Converting
Wise has just converted your GBP payment into the local currency, so it’s ready to send.
Sent
It's on its way! Wise has sent the payment. The delivery time can vary. Tap to check an estimated delivery time.
Charged back
The payment has been recalled.
Cancelled
We couldn’t send the payment to Wise. You won't have been charged, and you'll need to make a new payment.
Cancelled, refunding
We couldn’t send the payment to Wise. We’d charged you, but we’re refunding it straight back.
Refunded
We’ve refunded your payment.
Bounced back
The transfer has bounced back, but it hasn't been refunded or cancelled just yet. Drop is a line if you’re still getting this message after 2 days.
Unknown
Wise is missing some important info it needs to make the payment.
