How do I transfer my ISA?
Transferring an ISA To Monzo
Currently you can only transfer an existing ISA into one of our Stocks and Shares ISAs.
We don’t support transferring money from an existing ISA to our Instant Access Cash ISA right now.
To start transferring your existing ISA into a Stocks and Shares ISA, follow the steps below.
Go to the Investments pot
Scroll down to “Account”
Tap “Transfer in a Stocks and Shares ISA”
Follow the instructions and provide the details of your existing ISA
We’ll do the rest. We’ll contact your old provider and ask them to start the process of transferring your ISA to Monzo. We’ll let you know when this is complete.
Transferring an ISA to a new provider_
To transfer your Monzo Cash or Stocks & Shares ISA elsewhere, you'll need to get in touch with the provider of the ISA you want to move to. They should be able to give you an ISA transfer form.
Please note, Monzo only allows full transfers currently.
Transferring your Monzo Instant Access Cash ISA or Easy Access Cash ISA
Unfortunately, we don't support the electronic transferring of cash ISAs but you can complete a cash ISA transfer form with your new provider. You'll need to use your Monzo account number on this form. You can find this on the image of your personal account card at the top of the home screen.
Example: Provider: Monzo Monzo Account Number: 00000000
Transferring your Monzo Stocks and Shares ISA
You’ll need to use the Stocks and Shares Account Number details found at the bottom of the investments home page.
Example: Provider: Monzo Stocks and Shares Account Number: MZ0000000-000
Once you’ve provided all of the required information to your new provider, they'll contact us for any relevant information and we'll transfer the money.
