Setting up Google Pay

The easiest way to add your cards to Google Wallet is from the Monzo app:

  1. Tap the Home icon in the Monzo app menu.

  2. Tap the "Card" button on the account you would like to set up Click to Pay with.

  3. Tap the "Add to Google Pay" button, and follow the steps.

Alternatively, you can add your card from the Google Wallet app:

  1. Download the Google Wallet app from the Google Play Store.

  2. Follow the Google Wallet app's instructions to add your card.

  3. Open the Monzo app to approve the request to add your card to Google Wallet.

Updating your default card in Google Wallet:

  1. Open the Google Wallet app.

  2. At the top, on your card, swipe from the right edge of the screen until you find the card that you want to use as your default.

  3. Tap the card.

  4. At the bottom, tap "Details" > "Make default for pay contactless."
