Nearby Friends isn't working

For the Nearby Friends feature to work, both you and the sender/receiver must:

  • Have our most up-to-date app
  • Have a Monzo account
  • Be within 30 metres of each other
  • Have Bluetooth switched on
  • Enable 'Payments with friends' in settings via the Profile page on your Account tab on your iOS device and Settings on your Account tab on your Android device.
  • Be on the Friends Nearby screen in the 'Payment' tab at the same time

If you've checked all this and it's still not working, let us know and we can take a closer look!
