Paying bills from Pots
You can pay bills (like Direct Debits and standing orders) directly from one of your regular Pots, instead of from your main account.
You'll need to set up your Direct Debit or standing order first.
Go to the Pot you'd like to pay from
Tap Set up or Edit next to "Scheduled payments",
Choose which payments you'd like to pay from the Pot
When your bill is due, the money will move from your Bills Pot into your main account
Once the payment has been taken, we'll include it in your Left to Pay
If you don't have enough money in your Bills Pot, any remaining funds in the Pot will move over and we'll pay the rest from your main account (and overdraft if you have one), if we can.
You can also pay online subscriptions from Pots with Monzo Plus, Premium, Extra, Perks and Max
To set this up:
Go to the Pot you'd like to pay from
Scroll down and tap Add new card next to Virtual card
Choose your card name and colour
Update your billing details with your new virtual card details
Once the payment has been taken, we'll include it in your Left to Pay
Any payments made using a virtual card connected to your Bills Pot will be taken directly from the Pot's balance.
With Monzo Plus, Premium, Extra, Perks and Max, you can also group and label purchases your way.
