What happens if we call you

If we do call you we’ll always go through some security questions before discussing anything to do with your account. We'll never tell you information about your account until you've passed security.

If someone calls you claiming to be from Monzo, check it’s really us in the app

If the app says we aren’t talking to you, hang up

If the call status in the app shows a member of the Monzo team isn’t talking to you, hang up right away and report it to us by tapping the call status.

You can always trust the call status

If the person you’re talking to tries to tell you there’s a technical issue or another reason why the call status isn't working, hang up and report the attempted fraud to us through the app. If you call us on the phone number on the back of your Monzo card, you're okay to continue the call.

For times where you’re not connected to the internet, the call status will reflect that.
