Getting full transaction history for closed Monzo accounts
When you close your account, we’ll email you a bank statement with your full transaction history. We'll password protect the document and text or email you the password.
If your account is already closed and you need a statement
To help us find your account, please tell us:
Your full name
The email address and phone number you used on the account when it was open
The dates you need the statement to include
Your account number (ideally) or;
Which account you need the statement for if you had more than one account
If your email address and phone number are different now, so we can update them if needed
ID check
To keep things secure and so we can verify your identity, please also include a selfie of you either:
Holding up your ID
OR
Holding up a piece of paper with today’s date on it
You might need to give us an alternative email address in case we can’t text the password to your current number. For security, the email must be different from the address we send the statement to.
Once you have all of the information to hand, please email bank-statements@monzo.com with the information above including the ID check. This will go straight to the team who can help.
What happens next?
Once we’ve got everything we need and confirmed it’s you, we’ll send your statement to the email address on your account.
We’ll password protect the document and text you the password (or send it to the alternative email address you share).

If you're unable to use email for any reason, please give us a call on 0800 802 1281 (+44 20 3872 0620 if you’re overseas) and have the information requested above handy.
