How do I transfer my ISA?
❗ Important: We currently only support full ISA transfers.
Transferring an ISA To Monzo
Right now, you can only transfer an existing ISA into a Monzo Stocks & Shares ISA. We don't currently support bringing an old ISA into a Monzo Cash ISA.
Here’s how to bring your ISA over to us:
Go to your Investment account in the app.
Tap Transfer an ISA.
Follow the quick on-screen steps to give us your existing ISA details.
We’ll take it from there! We'll contact your current provider, get the transfer started, and let you know as soon as the money lands in your Monzo account.
Transferring your Monzo ISA to another provider
If you’re looking to move your Monzo Cash ISA or Stocks & Shares ISA elsewhere, you'll need to kick things off by contacting your new provider. They’ll give you an ISA transfer form to fill out.
Depending on which ISA you are moving, here are the details you'll need to give your new provider:
Moving your Cash ISA:
We don’t support electronic Cash ISA transfers just yet, but you can easily move it manually using the transfer form from your new provider.
What you'll need: Your standard Monzo account number.
Where to find it: Tap the image of your personal Monzo card at the top of your app's Home screen.
Example: Provider: Monzo | Account number: 00000000
If you have multiple Cash ISA Pots, they all sit under one single ISA "wrapper." This means transferring your Cash ISA will move all of your Cash ISA Pots over to your new provider and close them at the same time. (Don't worry, your regular Savings Pots are completely separate and won't be affected!)
Moving your Stocks & Shares ISA
To move your investments, you will need your specific Stocks & Shares ISA account number.
What you'll need: Your Stocks & Shares ISA account number.
Where to find it: You can jump straight to your account details by tapping here.
Example: Provider: Monzo | Account number: A012Z34
Once you've given those details to your new provider, they will reach out to us and we'll safely transfer your money over.
Still need a hand? We’ll be happy to help with any ISA transfer questions!
